Holidays are the perfect time to discover new places with the smallest of the house. Here are some ideas so you can plan the perfect getaway this summer and also help you choose the perfect backpack for every occasion.

To the mountain for the adventurers

Beach or mountain? The dilemma of each year. Those who decide to spend a cooler and more active summer are lucky as it is not necessary to go far to enjoy a perfect mountain destination. The National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici, in the Catalan Pyrenees, is a paradise for hiking in family.

In the only natural park of Catalonia you can follow itineraries suitable for all ages and tastes. The environment is of great beauty and the children will have a great time in the middle of nature: a great adventure for small explorers.

The lakes as an alternative

To finish, perhaps the bravest children dare to go in search of the Monster of Lake Banyoles, in the province of Girona. This lake is the largest of Catalonia and in it you can rent a rowboat or even bathe in the areas delimited for it.

For our lake vacation getaway it is best to bring a backpack or sports bag with compartments to leave the swimsuits and wet flip-flops. It also has to be large enough to store the towel, sunscreen, snorkel goggles, etc.

Sightseeing in the city for the curious

If we want to go beyond our borders, visiting a European capital in summer with children is always a good idea. London, the capital of England, is a classic destination, and the classics never go out of style. Traveling in summer to London with children is ideal for many reasons. London has a more temperate climate that allows us to explore the city without dying of heat. Another charm of the city are its countless parks, such as the famous Hyde Park: an ideal place to have an outdoor picnic and watch the tree squirrels run into the tree.

London also has a great offer of activities for the whole family and many are free such as a visit to the Museum of Natural History or changing the guard at Buckingham Palace. Kids will also enjoy a musical, the Harry Potter tour or one of a thousand fun options the city has to offer.

To visit a city with children in summer it is better to opt for a light but resistant backpack, with compartments where to take everything necessary to explore the city from morning until night. A backpack with an original and modern design will make you the coolest family in the city.
